What is a science teacher and what does do?  

Whether you major in biology, chemistry, physics (or all three), as a science teacher you can cover a variety of topics tailored to the age range and learning ability of your class. Your main tasks are to plan and create lessons, teach students and prepare homework in  school, college or university.  

If you want to become a science teacher, it is important that you are passionate about working with young people and helping them succeed. You should also  be very knowledgeable about your chosen field.

 

Some of your main daily tasks include:

1.  Developing lessons, activities and assessments to meet national educational standards
2.  Track student progress and tailor lessons to all backgrounds and abilities
3.  Doing homework and giving constructive feedback
4.  We collaborate with other faculties and departments to develop learning objectives and tools to promote student well-being
5.  Create an inclusive learning environment for all
6.  Participation in parent meeting
